The accolades spanned multiple areas of the organisation, with the Sydney Royal Easter Show recognised for Best Marketing Campaign, and Best Facility Beautification Project thanks to its new Honky Tonk themed food and beverage precinct. Sydney Showground also earned high praise, taking home top prizes for its website, promotional video, and menu compendium.
RAS President, John Bennett, said he was delighted with the organisation’s success at one of the world’s most prestigious industry competitions.
“The IAFE Contest Awards celebrate the best of the best across agricultural fairs, shows, and exhibitions, from state events to local county fairs. To be recognised among the best in the world across multiple facets of our organisation is a tremendous privilege and a testament to the hard work and creativity of the staff who bring our events to life”, Bennett said.
“It is particularly rewarding to see one of our longest serving staff members, Lynelle Smith, accomplish such a significant milestone within the IAFE community. Lynelle’s commitment to continual learning and development ensures the RAS remains aligned with international standards in fairs and exhibitions, and we are incredibly proud to celebrate this achievement with her.”
By participating in international conventions such as the IAFE, the RAS can ensure it continues to evolve and deliver a world-class agricultural show to Australians.
