Registration open for 2026 UFI Asia-Pacific Conference in Bangkok

UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, has opened registrations for the 2026 UFI Asia-Pacific Conference, taking place in Bangkok, Thailand, from 5–6 March.

Hosted by the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), the region’s landmark event will take place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC), which was fully refurbished in 2022.

The UFI Asia-Pacific Conference brings together leading industry voices and stakeholders to exchange insights and explore the future of exhibitions across Asia-Pacific. Previous editions in Thailand were held in Chiang Mai (2016) and Bangkok (2011). The UFI Global Congress in 2019, also hosted by TCEB in Bangkok, remains one of the association’s largest to date.

With Bangkok’s dynamic event landscape and rich cultural backdrop, combined with TCEB’s strong support, the 2026 UFI Asia-Pacific Conference promises to be the region’s must-attend industry event of the year. In addition, it will be particularly significant as it coincides with the UFI Presidency of Panittha Buri, Vice Chairperson of Bhiraj Buri Group and proud representative of Thailand’s exhibition community.

“TCEB has a long-established and valued relationship with UFI, so we are honoured to host the 2026 UFI Asia-Pacific Conference.

Thailand continues to grow as a regional hub for exhibitions, so we are delighted to have the opportunity to showcase Thailand with our world-class venues, professional expertise, and exceptional hospitality to colleagues from across Asia and around the world.

Experience the best of Thai hospitality. Be our guest.” - Dr. Supawan Teerarat, President of Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB)

Mark Cochrane, UFI Regional Director Asia-Pacific, adds, “UFI is very pleased to bring the Asia-Pacific Conference back to Thailand.

This event was last held in Thailand in 2016, when we were in Chiang Mai. Much has changed since then, as the Thai exhibition industry has gone from strength to strength. This is in no small part due to TCEB’s continued strong support for our industry. So, we are looking forward to working closely with TCEB again as the host of this conference.

We are anticipating a large turnout for this edition as we bring together UFI members and industry leaders from around Asia to discuss the issues of the day, such as the role of AI in events, the impact of trade tensions, growth opportunities, talent strategies and much more.”

As the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, UFI organises several events annually, including Regional Conferences, the UFI Global Congress, the Global CEO Summit, and the Event Directors Summit.

Registration for the 2026 UFI Asia-Pacific Conference is now open to all exhibition industry professionals, with Early Bird pricing in place until 31 January. For further details on how to register, please visit the event website: www.ufiasia.org.
